Linda Reiter grew up in western PA and was introduced to Jesus at the young age of five. By
the age of seven, she surrendered herself to serve God wherever He would have her go.
She has been given a wide range of opportunities to do this. She graduated from Oklahoma
University/Health Science Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
As an Occupational Therapist, she served in rehabilitation hospitals, rehab units in nursing
home and in home health. She was trained in physical and mental health.
Linda transitioned to be a teacher for the at-risk youth population at Reynoldsburg High School.
Beyond teaching and working as a therapist, Linda continued to have a desire to help people
emotionally and spiritually.
Around 2000, Linda received a clear direction from the Lord to ‘plant a Vineyard church on the
Eastside”. At the time, she was not aware of what that really meant. However, she took steps
of faith and went to Vineyard Leadership Institute to further her education. She was sent out as
a church planter along with her husband, Richard. Linda was the first lead female pastor
commissioned from her home church of Vineyard Columbus to start a Vineyard Church in
Reynoldsburg. Linda loves her family, church family and most importantly, Jesus is the love of
her life. She is thankful to be called to serve within the local church. She has a passion for
people to experience the life-changing presence of God from the inside out. She has a heart to
accept people as they are, come alongside them and show them Jesus. Now Richard and
Linda are co-pastors of Vineyard Christian Church.
Linda has also been trained in other ways: as a Stephen Ministry Leader, Precept Ministry
Leader, life coach, currently being trained as a spiritual director through Sustainable Faith. She
is also part of the leadership team for the School of Kingdom Ministry at the church.
On a personal note, Linda and her husband have been married for 37 years. They’ve lived in
Michigan, New Jersey and Ohio to serve within the local church. They have two sons, Jonathan
and Nathan, who are both married. Now they are blessed with five grandchildren – four beautiful
girls and one handsome little boy. She has another 4-legged member of the family named
Jasper. Linda is currently working with Jasper with hopes to become a therapy dog and join
with her in ministry.
